Important: Approval must be granted to participate in Thermo Fisher Scientific service training courses. All external learners need a Thermo Fisher Scientific Manager approval. The Manager is Robert Mickle – robert.mickle@thermofisher.com.
Step 1: Approval Process:
Supply answers to the 14 questions below and email them to Robert Mickle for review of training request. Robert determines if training is approved or not.
- Is your company/group an Authorized Service Provider (ASP) for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc?
- Does your company have a CDA in place? If not, Robert Mickle can help you get this in place.
- Name of company?
- Mailing address for company?
- Contact Name for company? Who will process the payment?
- Phone number of the company contact?
- Email address for the company contact?
- Number of learners?
- Name of requested training? Include the TFU# if you have it.
- Learner names, and email addresses?
- Which of the following is the level of training needed by the learner?
- Level 1-Basic Maintenance
- Level 2-Maintenance, theory, Basic Repair
- Level 3-Service Level Training with no KB Access
- Level 4-Service Level Training with KB Access
- Does your company realize external learners pay for this service?
- Will your company send learners to a Thermo Fisher Training location for training?
- Which of the following best describes the potential learner(s)?
- End User
- 1st Responder
- On-site Person and /or shop
- Other, please provide description.
Step 2: Approval Process:
You will be advised if service training is approved or declined.

If approved, Robert Mickle sends names and above information to TMC.
